I bought a sony vaio laptop, it came with an XP Professinal Disc.
I thought that the cd was a set up cd. So i installed that on my computer blindly, Now my vista is gone, and is changed to vista. My computer has a " Finger print " Function. and its disabled cause only vista supports it. So , Please help me figure out a way to change my XP back to VISTA BUSINESS. I tried restoring to factory setting and everything. Please help me find a way, like if i bring it to the sony vaio workshop, will they be able to change it back to vista business? vista . Dont give me BS like vista transformation pack . Or buying another vista and all. Please help me . please?
PS: Could i download the CD of Vista installation and then enter my vista's cd key to activate it? Pls state the url if i can do that.
