I have a friend who is looking for an inexpensive laptop and has set her sights on these two brands. I know they aren't the best on the market, but given the fact that she's been to Best Buy 3 times already and had major problems, I think it's best to search for different brands. One was a Toshiba that would lose sound or video if you moved it wrong, and this last one is a Dell with the infamous AC Adapter problem. Now I'm looking at a Pavilion or a Vaio. Which would you prefer, community?
