i have a sony vaio k37,that was given to me. the battery is dead so i need to keep it plugged in in order to keep it on, but thats not the problem. i installed a new hd and now it is giving me a error "no operating system not found". i tried setting the bios to boot from the optical drive, but everytime i save it and start it, it gives me the operating system error again. i know the CMOS battery is good because the time/date and all the changes save. it just doesnt boot...i burned two dvd's with windows 7 from my mac on disk utilities and it doesnt work for either. any possible idea's?
