Which one is more reliable. I found a Gateway 14 inch id49c07u its really cute(yes i am buying it off looks as well as reliability lol)..The touchpad lights up..and its thin and i like it
but i really like the sony vaio VPCEA3AFX/WI
anyway, i recently found out i could get them both for 600..(gateway will be 583) but i always wanted a sony
I have had my current gateway laptop for 5 years and its really good..
anyway
I am just asking your opinion. do you think sonys or gateways are better as far as reliability?

Thank you SOO Much you just confirmed what I was already thinking. because ive had my gateway for 5 plus years and its still booming, they are good computers..
the sony one i was looking at would be slower than the gateway
so i think I am going to stick to the gateway
its strange because I have recommended gateway to friends for years but was thinking about switching over because of the look of sonys looks ..they copy mac..
but youve helped me realize that gateway is the only way lol
