It has everything to do with lies. You're saying sony lied about winning an Emmy (which was a miscommunication), i'm bring up the lie that Microsoft lied about its failure rate (which wasn't a miscommunication)

That was released by NPD. A 3rd party group. NEVER believe anythign a corporation releases.... Especially Sony as they've proven over and over.

See, but the point is the truth about the 360 is easy to find and it's not that bad. What ever you say... if there was a huge problem with 360's, you'd be seeing news reports about it since people generaly don't like faulty hardware. And I generally read gaming/hardware news on multiple news sites every day after I get off and am stuck on base (because my vehicle is not here and my GF is at a different base for the time being).


However; you see tons of reports of Sony trying to spread lies about their output and sold output, you see tons of articles bad mouthing the PS3 by huge developers (ID Software and Valve), you see outright lies by sony about their products winning awards.

I haven't heard jack shit about the 360, other than Xmas sales info (in which they were the leader on sales). You can prove the worth of your currently failing system all you want; what ever it takes to make you feel good about a bad investment.
 
Pretty sure they only won one for the original Dual Shock.... and I have no idea if Xbox got one, I don't pay attention to that stupid stuff. Only what I read on the forums.
 
They SHIPPED 1M in Japan, but only 500k have sold. Those are the official numbers.

Japan is Wii land. PS3s, just like in America, are collecting dust on store shelves over there, unsold. That is the truth. Last week's Japanese software chart was dominated by Nintendo. Every single title in the top 15 was either for the DS or Wii.

Sony is announcing SHIPPED numbers. There are over 300k PS3s sitting in stores in the US and over 500k PS3s sitting in stores inn Japan. Get back to me when they actually sell a million units in either the US or Japan.

if it's proven to be worth the amount then why would it be a bad investment? Now if you're constantly replacing said investment, or needing to put more money into it to get what you want (raising the price above the alternative), I'd consider that a bad investment.

I wish there were wide spread reports on the OS system formerly known as windows ME and how unstable it was, but that didn't happen , but at least windows XP made that blunder a faded memory
