Sony is up shit creek: PS3 is a sales disaster

ps3 is still the cheapest blu-ray player... basically the main reason i bought one this month instead of waiting for an exclusive game i want
 
I played a ps3 the other day for the first time, and I was much more impressed than I thought I would be. I liked the feel of the controller, and the game ( I think it was motorstorm or something like that) impressed me too.
I think the price point is just insane, and I am a nintendo fanboy, so it is natural that I would want Sony to fail. I don't think that will be the case. They just need software that proves that your 600 dollar investment was justified, and the launch titles don't do that. Give it a year.
I didn't give the xbox 360 a second glance until Gears of war came out.
 
What are the odds that would happen? If it did happen, or even they priced it the same or more as the Ps3, I'll be at Costco the next morning, with my 360 boxed up reciept in hand looking to swap consoles.

Maybe if Sony gave the consumer the option to buy with food stamps people would be happier. I remember when the Ps3 was announced, people acted like it was the second coming of christ until they found out how much it costs. While pricey for a game machine, the Ps3 is a hell of a bargain in terms of an entertainment device. Who knows, if Blu Ray goes away in a year or so, and I'm left with a stack of movies for a dead platform will I have an ounce of remorse? Nope, because I got to enjoy them then and there, rather then waiting around for it on another format which in turn will become obsolete in a couple years itself because that is the nature of the game.
 
F+ will not accept the truth.....teachers note... play for the love of the game,reamber the wait for your much anticipated machine of choice....and the excitment....thats like a build up of 5 years of a wait...then you open it up and are either dissapointed or excited......either way.....im just saying gamming needs to get back to that. there are hundrads of first person shooters....clancy has a new one every what 6 months.....what if.........it were one every 3 years.....if made right it could be the halo distroyer.....but the same shit over and over is spendy and dull......gears of war 2.....fall of 2010 ill be on the wait list if this first one is as good as i hear......................................THAT SAID read the next post

i wount recommend to read it either.....but all your bitchin ....i just had to tell it like it is..... all i know is if you want a br or hd player.....buy the damn player....dont count on your ps3 to do it....thats why ps2s started to break down....i had mine from day one works like a gem....never played a dvd in it. if i was loaded id buy all 3....but the wii will out sell them all and the others will be like 60% 40% 360 commin to the conclusion of wii60 wich will hold true.....lol F F F dont read this either but ya know telling people not to read will make them read to see what not to read....cuz curiousity kills the cats.....up with hope down with dope! ps i bowled a 184 not that great PPSS ALL THAT SAID Name me one game that will save the ps3 ....one epic one blockbuster ....maybe thay have a sleeper....but a game needs depth....it dosent have to be goodlooking....the only resion shit is goodlooking is because of advancement .....its like haveing a girlfriend..............she might be some eyecandy.....but on the inside she is empty.....so in the end all you do is get fucked but never experance any depth in mind or soul
 
I have notcied that the 20g is sold out everywhere hmmmm.

Everytime i see pics of stock ps3 its always the 60g. So its a good thing there plenty of 20g's in peoples house.
 
AND i think the ps3 should cut the cost in half.....or knock a cupple hundo off......because the fact is every day thay are loosing more and more....i would concider a ps3 then....but would probley opt for the 360 the sony gaming has no face or name anymore....what IS the selling point? nintendo=mario 360=halo+(add kids/society) shit even sega=sonic sony=????? crash bandacuit? parapa the rapper? thay just push shit out quick to make a buck.....its gonna bite um in the ass and thay will be in sega's shoes.....makeing virtual consoule games for the 360 haha ironic.......PS fuck bill gates ill still get a 360 but its all about steve jobs...lets see MAC jump into gaming....that would be the end of the world of gaming as we know it....... as on of my teacher once said..... just KISS....keep it simple stupid
