Hello,
Last night when I last looked at my Sony Ericsson Z310a at about 7:00 pm it had a full battery bar.
This morning at about 6:30 am, the battery bar appeared to be at 1/3 power, but the earliest alarm setting was for 5:26 am and the phone never made a sound. The alarms were going off, but no sound was playing.
I could not hear any ringtones by pressing "Play" in the menu options to choose a ringtone. I tried calling the phone from another line and the call lights went off but there was no ringtone sound.
I plugged the phone in for about 40 minutes of charging before I had to leave for work. The battery bar went back up to full. The sound came back. The ringtone sounded when I called it.
Is this normal? Did the sound shut off because the battery bar dropped too low? Should I need to keep the phone plugged in overnight to use the alarms, or does this mean there's something wrong?
