Sony Ericsson Xperia x10 update?

My Sony Ericsson Xperia x10 (not mini), has a 1.6 operating Droid system. I do search for software updates on my phone but it doesnt find anything.
Does anyone know if theres a newer version available? If no, when does it come out?!
