Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 [How to change texting language}?

Hi there. My brother just got the xperia x10 and is still trying to find his way about the phone a bit. At the weekend there whilst texting he managed to change the writing language to Korean and hasnt a clue how to change it back. The letters are still the same, but when he goes to the numbers its all symbols etc}

Anyone know exactly what he should do to get it back to normalo without resetting to factory default ?

He said he tried going to settings > Locale & text > Select locale.
But this didnt change anything within the text part of the phone and he still cant find numbers when texting.
