Sony Ericsson W810i Vs LG KG800 'Chocolate'

Sorry, yet another 'x vs y' question

So I'm undecided between the above 2, hope to pick one up tomorrow, so any views to help me decide?

I'm interested in particular in views in terms of the music player function- which is better etc....

The W810i is a walkman phone and definintely has great sound for playing mp3's built on the K750i and w800i predecssors....It also comes with the HPM-70 noise cancelling headphones which are quite impressive.

I never owned the LG so I can't compare; however, W810i has quadband whereas the LG is Triband...While the W810i has EDGE, the LG doesn't...

It seems a tricky choice, but overall i get the impression that in terms of audio playing, the 810i is superior, as well as the fact that the KG800 doesn't have removable memory, which could be limiting. I guess the LG seems to be style over substence, no?
Any reported probs with either of these 2 that i should be aware of?

yea the lg looks nice and all but theres really no point in getting it, the w810i is nice, im trying to get rid of my 8125 for that and the nokia 6131

ok except for the touch buttons but both have the same outside look and they open up, both look very similar.....I even find the button layout similar...

It's your imagination, they look nothing alike. The camera placement makes it look like a camera in the back (the LG camera is on the inside slide). The LG KG800 has touch sensitive controls and is a mirror black finish while the SE is a either a white or matte black. The keypad is typical SE (small, curved edges) while the Chocolate looks like a checkerboard.

I would personally take the Chocolate phone based on my needs (and if it had 800 mhz) over the W810i. I don't use a phone as an MP3 player, nor would I care for it as a camera replacement at under 4 Megapixels.

It is much sexier than the plain jane SE bar phone and to me (I am not a tech geek), that is more important than having a MP3 player phone.
