Sony Ericsson Vivaz problem?

I recently upgraded to this phone and it's great apart from ever since I got it there has been a small silver message/envelope type icon at the top at the screen flashing. I have checked and have no unread mail then decided to delete ALL of my messages and it still didn't work.
anyone know how i could get rid of it?

I've got the same problem here. At first I thought the same, that the flashing icon was refering to something related to incoming messages, but it turned out to be indicating that the SIM card memory is full.
Don't know for sure how to get rid of that though, as I took my phone to warranty the next day, due to repeated auto-rebooting when accessing the menus.
