Sony Ericsson Media Manager Isn't connecting with my phone!?

I have a sony ericsson w350. I downloaded the right media manager for it but Every time I plug in the phone with the USB, and open the media manager, it says that I still need to connect my phone. Does anyone know how to fix this?
