Sony Ericcson K800i on Cricket?

Hey there. I have a Sony Ericsson K800i phone.
(K800i - International version: Dual-mode UMTS (2100MHz) & GSM (900/1800/1900 MHz), with W-CDMA and GPRS)

Am I correct that this phone will work with Cricket? I live in Portland, and like the idea of dumping T-Mobile for unlimited streaming 3g & internet access..

No. Cricket uses CDMA2000, not GSM. GSM phones will not work with Cricket.

try asking a place you know that unlocks phones.

no it will not work. no way no how. there is absolutely 0 posibility to get a gsm, wcdma, tdma, etc... phone or any NON cdma2000 phone for that matter to work on cricket.

i have this Qwest Pocket PC 6700Q and i was wondering if it will work on my local cricket service????? i was reading online and it said that qwest phones will work....i know ill have to get it flashed.......but will it work????? plz tell me yes
