Sony doesnt care about the games, they care about blu-ray

No it doesn't apply to Nintendo fagboys...they have a mission to make a thread on every piece of bad PS3 news. Seem like they NEED to make a Sony hate thread every five minutes

July 2004, Sony ended production of the PSone, selling over 110 million units. June of 2005, Sony sells over 100 million units. To date, the PS2 is somewhere around 110+ million units worldwide. Regardless if they're replacement consoles or not, the point is, Sony has sold 220 million units worldwide before the PS3. Nintendo doesn't come close to touching that in regards to home consoles.

What if the major benefit, as a game, is that it can't be pirated?

Regardless if it is a DVD or Blue Ray, the problem is that the player mechanism is always running, inducing it to wear. What people want is to be able to "download," or copy, or install onto a hard disk drive, thereby cutting the load times when playing. Not that that always works even on a PC, mind you. There is supposedly one PS2 game that has load times of over 30 seconds when scenes or levels change. On the PC side there is supposedly a simple graphics game which brings the fastest graphics card to its knees. On the PS2, if the reason for dropping frames is the DVD, then does it drop frames when playing from an HD? Likewise, why install a 5400 rpm laptop drive into game systems when faster drives have faster transfer rates? Well, because the slower speed drives are more reliable vs faster drives. But if the slower drives contribute to frame drops then what good is it?

So, why isn't it done? Because of Pirating, most likely.

oh and yes all tha sony cares about is the blu-ray player succeeding.

"Taledega Nights" blu-ray disk in each PS3 remember that? they took a bigger loss with having those free disks in each system. they wanted the people to use that movie and get used to using those gay ass disks and forcing people to watch blu-ray

if they truly wanted to please their gamers they would have given a free game instead of movie

.
Ummm....No, I only posted a part of the gameboys numbers.
I left out the others because i was too lazy to look it up.
Gameboy - another 70 Million units
Gameboy Color - 49 Million units
Gameboy Pocket
Gamboy Light
and the ellustrious crapfest that was VirtualBoy.

It's mainly Light Speed, he's been doing this all day in every PS3 thread he can find. If there are none, then surely a new thread can be made...

We're talking incremental loss of maybe a dollar on top of what they lose to the PS3. Are you kidding me?

Quit being a moron.

I will not tolerate mustang jokes. My 01 Bullitt > your car.
