I'm trying to run Closed Captioning on regular TV programing. My coaxial cable is plugged directly into my TV (no cable box). When I hit the 'CC' button (Closed Captioning) it only displays one option, rather than going through a list of them. I have CC1 enabled now and thats the english subtitles. Under 'HOME' I can get a bunch of Closed Captioning options, including the option to enable CC2, CC3, CC4, Text1, Text2, Text3 and Text4. However, when enabled, each of these doesn't produce any subtitles at all.
I have a cheap Proview at home and it does what I want just fine. Seems odd that a TV as nice as the Sony Bravia would skimp on such a small feature.
Would apprecite anyone who can point me in the right direction.
