I am 18, been writing songs and performing as a solo artist for a couple of years. I just recorded a new EP which included some other musicians on electric guitar, bass and drums to liven it up a bit (I hope). Currently looking for more acoustic gigs with my boyfriend who is lead guitarist.

I think the lyrics are quite obvious in the songs but if you want me to type them out then just ask. I'd love to know what everyone thinks. If you like it, please add me or subscribe to the youtube channel.

so yeah ive been gettin into the forums lately

here goes nothing

Band Name: The Lost Of Desires
Genre:Death Metal
Myspace: None yet lol

this my lyrics wich i need desperate help with

i'll nail my eyeliRAB
to the back of my skull
spend my life in watch
waiting for your return

ill keep these truth
inside my tortured mind
and maintain those standarRAB
passed down your poisoned sigh

i'll rip my chest open
and know its all empty there
staple myself to the ceiling
and pray for thy repent

i'll stare straight to heaven
and know its just as empty as hell
i'll bleed my knees begging
to know prayers wont be heard

on the grand book of Death
my name tops all of man
and in the place of eternal rest
my body will burn from its ashes to no end

You Gave me life
but you dont know a single thing
about surviving
being cast aside of everything
you gave me life
but you dont know a single thing
bout life itself

i got nothing to give!
fallen out of grace eaons ago
nothing at all is left
dust is all that remains

Take what you want of me
Horror awaits for those not deem
a hex shall be cast upon your kind
no shadow will be safe again

We're in the process of recording our EP, we're called Down A Lifetime,
we'e pop punk with a post hardcore feel,
I wrote these lyrics in the studio:

Hollywood, I've lost count of the risks I take for you,
You were a ghost town, you were a scene.
Just another scene.
Starstruck in these city lights,
and I've lost count of the second chances.
Look behind the curtain,
you'll see how much you've missed.
A plastic face and ocean eyes could never cover up
the way you hve this city wrapped around your finger.
Hollywood, you burn so bright,
I'm lost inside these city lights.

I'll post a link when we're done recording, but I wanted feedback on these lyrics because idk if theyll be final.

I started writing music recently. I have a couple songs complete. I'm just going by my name right now, but a friend of mine is helping me write them and sing. I'm basically just acoustic right now. We're thinking of getting a tambourine soon, though!
Anyway, I have two original songs, "Sudden Stranger," and "Every Cloud." They're on my purevolume.

You asked for lyrics too, so I'll post a a little taste from "Every Cloud"...

Listen, can't you see?
Somethings out there are worth finding.
Listen, can't you see?
Every cloud has silver lining.
Don't you want your world filled with light?

I'd love any feedback.

It's not my band, but As Blood Runs Black is having vocal tryouts and this is my take on it:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cYMycrvWLsc

the lyrics (written by me) are:
I've walked this way before,
broken glass doesn't bother calloused feet.
I took a hammer to your hourglass frame,
while you rested your eyes on the concrete.

You will remain: unforgivable.
You ****ing bitch.

Heaven may intervene,
but this rage could tear the wings from angels.

I watched you bleed the sand of every
Goddamn chance you ever had.

And when you feel life slip away
find comfort in the warmth of the asphalt.
Slowing sighs see no sympathy..

And when you feel life slip away
find comfort in the warmth of the asphalt.
Slowing sighs see no sympathy from me.
You remain unforgiven.

Unforgivable.

I previously had an entire story about it written for my own band's song, but I shortened and tweaked it to try with their instrumental.

First post by the way! :D

Lyrics are easy to make out in songs.

New album "Beautiful Distance" is there to listen - recommended loud, recommend you listen to it from start to finish in one sitting (29 min). Headphones and ambient lighting also recommended, but not explicitly required.

If you like - can buy for the low price of $1.40 here: http://www.mymusicstream.com/theasiangoatproject

If you like it a lot, ask me for a free copy and I may be inclined to send it to you...

Go nuts.

Band Name: Stone BirRAB

Genre: Alternative (aka Modern) Folk

Website(s): purevolume.com/jakefolkrock and myspace.com/stonebirdies

Description:
In 2007 i wrote a song called "Heroes" (Streams from myspace) which almost instantly became popular in my town with a little help from Dan Parson, who wrote the music to it. on sep. 10 and sep. 12 it was performed by the JH choir at my school. i was featured in a newpaper called Plattsmouth Journal. in late 2008 i started to write songs and list them under the name "Stone BirRAB", my second most popular song became "Zenith Observer" (Streams on myspace) a more electro based song than what i usually do. then while trying and failing to release albums i decided to instead of worrying on release, to more worry on actually writing and recording. now my first Self-titled album is planned to be released in september. "If I Fell Into Black Water" (streams on purevolume) was entered into an online compilation and was review well, and has become the 3rd most popular song of mine.

Starar are a sibling duo and we have a new album coming out, 'Who'. Our music is urban/pop/rock/soul with songs similar to Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, Pixie Lott etc. I play guitar, keyboarRAB and sing, and Steven is the drummer and bassist. We both write the songs and perform everything.

Give our music a listen and let me know hat you think. Our album is available for pre-order through Amazon aswell.

Band name: AIRAB Mercury, but we're changing the name back to Minipope

Genre: grind

Webpage:
http://myspace.com/aiRABmercurylv

Small description: the song on there is just some improv on rough ideas, we're working on so more complete ideas now, and its coming out kind of like this (minus the weird last minute), but with heavy Botch and Converge influence.

Lyrics: I make threaRAB with lreally brief yrics a lot for a reason.

Band: On Ions...
Genre: Folk/Indie/Post Hardcore
Album: Map Of The South Pacific
Description: Production isn't that good but it sort of adRAB to the aesthetic. It's all songs I've written and I play every instrument on it. It is what it is.
Lyrics: This is what I enjoy the most about my music. The lyrics should be on the mp3 files.
