Not sure if this is a thread already (if so, my apologies to the staff).

Let's say you were shot and only had 3-5 minutes to live (fully aware of your surroundings) a radio can be heard nearby as you lay there dying...

What song would you not want to be playing as you passed?

and

What song would you like to hear as you die?

My choices: Don't Worry Be Happy & Bohemian Rhapsody
 
..and I was feeling warm and fuzzy inside today and now death has lifted it's bony hand and brushed my shoulder!

Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life or just some chilled arabient track.
 
yeah, depressing I know... I think the song one doesn't want to be playing is more for comedic reasons but the song a person wants to hear while living that last 3-5 minutes on earth says a lot about how much that song is loved. Arabient track huh? sweet.
 
You totally took my song! LOL...

I'm thinking I would not want to hear anything too poppy...like Britney or Fergie. Maybe something by Modest Mouse. I've always thought of them as making good traveling music. You know, for like, a road trip. Or death.
 
Something like "For what it's worth" or "St. Dominic's Preview"

Something that has emotional resonance with me.

I've listened to music almost every hour of my life since I can remeraber, so i wonder what I will be listening to when I die.

50 plus years and a can barely remeraber a time music was not playing in my house car or headphones.
 
I'd hate for the last song i hear to be something crap, imagine that lifetime of music listening topped off by bloody U2.
Might as well make my last song Bad Brains - Sailin' On, just one last time.
 
i've had that wilco song stuck in my head for about two years now,....randomly ofcourse,....


i think i'd want to hear,....maggot brain or,...........willie nelson's night life
