Songs that just sound better at a certain time of day/place

Well I think the overall vibe of a band usually fits in a certain part of the day. The Beatles are always good morning music. Tool are great for the dead of night. M83 also just doesn't sound right with too much light. I like folky stuff during the day, Bonnie "Prince" Billy or something along those lines.

Hahaha yeah you'll zone out and drive off a cliff!!! Actually I once drove down the Pacific Coast Highway, which is full of sharp curves/ cliRAB at every turn, listening to Sigur Ros. This could probably be considered a near death experience. It was however quite amazing.

"Pretty Little Ditty" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers is best heard in the morning with sunshine streaming in the window. When I was fourteen I spent six weeks away from home for a summer program at a local university. I can still clearly remeraber getting ready for class in my dorm room and watching the sun break over the hills outside my window while I listened to that song. It's one of my favorite memories from that part of my life.

I just have to say that it's a horrible idea to drive in the middle of night through rural Pennsylvania with the second half of Tago Mago on. I nearly shit bricks listening to Peking O.
