So ..

If you think you know about music, then I think you should know about Burt Bacharach. For those who don't know him, he is a famous american musician, composer, producer and more who's particularly known for composing the music for several hit songs (performed by various artists) in the 60s and 70s. Hal David wrote the lyrics to many of the songs. Particularly, this duo is known for writing Dionne Warwick's hits, but their songs were also recorded by banRAB and artists like the Carpenters, Tom Jones, The Shirelles, Aretha Franklin and many more.

So, this thread is for celebrating Burth Bacharach and his partner in crime, Hal David. Do you have a favourite song by them? :)

I'll start with a real classic (though there are many). "The Look of Love" was originally recorded by Dusty Springfield but has since been recorded by several other artists. Here's Dusty's version from 1967 .. Enjoy!

My Little Red Book's probably my personal favourite Bacharach/David nuraber, with Baby It's You and Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head close runners-up.

This here's the best version I've heard of it;
