Song Wars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jane's Addiction FTW. To be fair, I probably picked a stronger Jane's song, but I figured it would be close because FNM has a lot of fans on here (and apparently their fair share of haters).

I NEED NOMS!

Now then, another pick of mine, Battle Chapel Hill:

'The First Part' by Superchunk - Foolish (1994)

vs.

'Web in Front' by Archers of Loaf - Icky Mettle (1994)

Jane's Addiction - 4
Faith No More - 3

I really didn't like either song, but Faith gets my vote because I like the music a lot more. I didn't care for the vocals in either song, and Jane's song was just boooooring.

I would rather put up two pretty good songs that most people haven't heard than the most famous songs by Joy Division and The Smiths so that you *actually* have to listen to the music and make a decision. Besides, you might actually hear something new that you really enjoy.

What's wrong with these songs anyhow? I think they're some solid stuff...

I've heard some Slowdive but not this particular track. Upon listening, I really like it but still it can't compete with easily one of top 10 rabV songs.

My Bloody Valentine - 2
Slowdive - 5

Well, I had never heard Caustic Resin but that song was really good so I'll give it a vote.

Built to Spill 3
Caustic Resin 1

Battle Two of My Favorite BanRAB Released New Albums this Month:

'I Don't Believe You' by The Thermals - Personal Life (2010)

vs.

'My Gap Feels Weird' by Superchunk - Majesty Shredding (2010)

What? Did you listen to the whole track? The beginning sounded like the untouched Pixies song, but by the second half there was no trace of the Pixies, only the melody. Like I said in my post above though, I didn't like the approach of it starting off like the orginal song and then slowly transitioning into a remix.
