Song Wars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha. That doesn't happen to you? Something in life becomes clear and all of a sudden out of nowhere...I saw the sign, and it opened up my eyes I saw the sign...

Haha, I didn't realize Built to Spill really had a defined fan base.

The Caustic Resin song is pretty good but I'm a Built to Spill fanboy and I like The Plan. Would have preferred a studio version though.

Built To Spill - 6
Caustic Resin - 2

Me too. Forgot to do the last one though, but don't have time now. Wait till tomorrow maybe? Sometimes the thread just gets pushed down too far and people don't notice.

Our first really close battle... and Joy Division just barely takes it 6 to 5.

Regarding the new war, I'll take Joy Division. Overall I prefer them but there's a lot of other Smiths songs that could have won me over.

3 - 2

Not to be rude, but both songs were horrible LOL. The video of AoL was....odd. And Superchunk had more of a flow to it.

Superchunk - 4
Archers of Loaf - 1

I figured I'd pick the Faith no more track for sure because it was my favorite on the album, but the Jane's Addiction track was far more intense.

Jane's Addiction 1

I probably should have picked a different Thermals song, but I already posted my other favorite, 'Power Lies', in a different thread...

Cool, I do intend to check out some of their earlier albums. The only one I ever heard was Here's to Shutting Up and I thought it was pretty bad. I understand it's a different style from their older stuff, though.

I'm a bigger fan of MM than I am of Spoon, though both have some great material. Neither of these songs is great, but I'll vote for Spoon on this one.
