I bought a table from the furniture store last Saturday and they were supposed to deliver it today. Another saleman sold the MY damn table yesterday now I have to wait until next week to get one.

Unscroupulous bastards. I outta call the cops. Wouldn't the person that bought MY table be pissed if they got picked up for recieving stolen goods? :mad:
 
Yeah I started to tell them that could just keep all of it but I don't have the time to go furniture shopping again. They have one in their other store that they are supposed to get to me the first part of next week.


Still pisses me off though.
 
I would demand a reduction in price, or some kind of rebate. That sounds like bullshit, don't just take that shit from them. Demand a rebate, and if they refuse demand a refund. If you mention the words "lawyer" "court" or "sue", I'm sure they'll start to come around.

When I had my car towed to a shop, it was 300 miles away from my home, so I couldn't readily reach it. I needed for him to tow it to a junk yard, but he waited 9 days to do, so I had to pay for 9 days of storage. Also, I had a few miscellaneous objects in the car (an ezpass.. a few CDs.. a briefcase of stuff) that i wanted him to ship to me. I told him I'd pay for everything. He was still giving me a hard time, its not his job, etc etc etc. I mentioned, briefly, the fact that my (now-ex-bitch) girlfriend's dad was a lawyer and a state magistrate, and the car shop man immediately warmed up to me, shipped my stuff to me, and towed my car to a junkyard.
