I have just this film for the first time in years and l didn't realise how good it still is!
Great performances from Melanie Griffith, Jeff Daniels and a pre-Goodfellas Ray Liotta! With outstanding cinemaography and a rocking 80's soundtrack l found it immensely enjoyable!
I wonder if Quentin Tarantin had based Uma Thurman's character in 'Pulp Fiction' on Melanie Griffith's look-a-like (well for the first part of the film) Lulu? Both girls liked to live on the wild side (no pun intended) and you could describe them as a pair of femme fatales!
