Something i noticed about Batman

I was rcently watchin the Batman movies (Batman 89 till Dark Knight) and noticed that he hardly ever uses his Batarang they just seem like a pointless gadget espescially in the Nolan movies i think he used them twice in Batman Begins 1st time to show off second to hit the lights to scare the henchman and he doesnt use them at all in The Dark Knight if i remember correctly. Cant remember if he uses them in the previous 4 films. You see him always put them in his belt or on hgim somewhere at least. They just seem pointless. However the grappel gun does rule.

there isn't a batarang in the nolan movies, just the metal batman-logo flying stars

the only real usage of it is in batman returns, as he programmes it to hit the targets, and throws it, only to get chomped by poodle lady's dog

all other useages were fired from his launcher to stop him / them falling
