the ten inch type r sub is amazing, this sub hits harder than any 10 on the shelves. but my question is does anyone know if the sub has some type of resin or seal inside of it that burns when it overheats? when i got my 10 my brother and i drove across town and back whick is like a 3 hour drive and the whole time my typre r was on loud and cranked at 57 and all the sudden the sub shut off and smoke was rolling out of the box, i thought for sure it was blown so i unhooked it and gave it to my bro, but when he hooked it up it hit just as hard and had no difference in sound quality so i hooked it back up and that was about 4 months ago and today the same thing happened only there was more smoke and the sub sounded like someone put a bunch off pennies in the box. but i just hooked it up and it it totally fine. whats up with this???
