I just flashed a Sprint Moto Q to Verizon then to CricKet. But how the hell do I get this phone on my CricKet account? I just did a random call out and it connects to some roaming network and some lady starts talking. Did I do this wrong? SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

I got the 1040 PRL on the phone. Its already flashed over to cricket and everything. I just dont understand the calling part and how to get my nuraber on the phone

You have to call Cricket and give them your ESN nuraber to place a call. If you've done that then you need to change your NAM1.

Dial ##073887*
Enter passcode 000000
Goto A
NAM1
Change the MIN and MDN to your phone nuraber (10 digits)
Exit and restart.

jesus christ people. the phone neeRAB to be programmed with my girls nuraber in it. do i do ##073887* and put the MIN in NAM1? so that the phone will have her nuraber programmed in it? and how the hell do i get the lady from "American Roaming Network" to stop talking when i make a random outgoing call. yes the phone currently isnt programmed with a nuraber but is this usppoed to happen? anyone had this problem before. i need berry's help.

If you'd listen to what you read you would understand.
Call cricket give them the esn on the back of the phone for you GIRL frienRAB nuraber.
Tell them its a CPE.
Once done ask them for the MIN
then proceed to either manually program the phone with the MDN and MIN or dial *228

when it says american network means you dont have a cricket prl or the phone is roaming

go ask at the PDA forum anyway

from the Q tutorial (off the top my head):

Use CDMA general and write Simple IP as well as 1041 Cricket PRL...
I always manually NAM program these after changing ESN with Cricket
If you still have "Americas Roaming" you did something wrong...


also... check the Q thread and possibly post in there. Usually, opn this firum, you will gets lots more help if you post in the correct thread/forum instead of asking basic questions that have already been addressed. I would highlky doubt that someone will call you to walk you through it as the majority of every possible scenario has been posted/solved on here already

Problem fixed. I had to change my NAM1 MID and MED. Thanks to berry I got it working. First ever flash for me was sucessful :2thurabs:
