someone please help how to fix bike brakes?

i have been riding without my back brakes on my mountain bike for about two months and finally decided to fix them myself because taking it to the repair shop will cost too much. anyway does anyone have a good website to go to or step by step instructions on how to fix them thanks..

It depends on what kind of brakes, disc or v-brakes?

Taking it to a shop is worth it if its really that bad u need brakes

Pump them up with a bike pump it will help a lot and then tighten the brakes.
