Someone messed up today...

I purchased a new plan with T-Mobile today and the salesperson told me that the Blackberry Add-On (for $19.99) comes with unlimited internet, email, and text messaging. "BB BIS AddOn" is what it is listed as on my service agreement.

Now I called T-Mobile earlier to ask a few general questions and the technical support worker told me that the add-on plan (BB BIS) does not come with text messaging, at all. Well I was curious if anyone happens to have the Blackberry add-on that I supposably have.

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~it comes with 300 text messages. I have the same plan. If you want unlimited text messages, you have to buy that separate. With a bb, you have pin messaging, which is unlimited. That's why the bb add-on doesn't have unlimited text. When you add people to your bb messager list, you can message back and forth all you want. You can get pin codes for people here in the forum.

According to the representative, I don't have any text messages what so ever. I also don't know anyone else with a blackberry, so PIN messaging is kind of meaningless to me. =\

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~i knew that right before I sigh up with tmobile. Data plan is just data no sms. But now I have the $59.99 plan which comes with 1000 min unlimited data and sms that's unbeatable.

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~i spoke to a Tmobile rep and he said pin uses SMS... Anyone verify this to be true or false for Tmobile blackberry users?

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~wait,slmoney do you have tmobile? Are you sure u get unlimited messaged for $9.99? Coz I know they charge $14.99 for unlimited sms.

Yea fiz is right. Pin is considered data. So there is no charge for using your pin.

On the other hand your instant messaging, and sms, as well as mms would all be fall into your messaging catagory. For these type of messages your going to need a messeging plan.

The sidekick is the only plan that has a data package which would include sms, email, and full browser. Again the sidekick is the only device that has that plan at tmobile.

This leads me to a way to decipher this matter if you want to further reasearch this matter yourself. Simply call tmob, and ask them what would be the difference between a sidekick data plan, and my blackberry data plan. If you do so post your feedback.
Ps. Feel "FREE" to pin me!! Lol,I'm sorry, I had to do it!
