As I was driving down a crowded street when a school was letting out, a woman opened her door and knocked my passenger-side mirror off my car. It shattered the glass and broke the mechanism that connects the mirror to the car. First off, will this cause me to fail a safety inspection in Massachusetts, and second, is it expensive to fix? Would I be able to get the glass from an auto glass shop and epoxy the mirror back on? Help!
