SOMEONE HELP ME WITH MY IPHONE?

so i accidently dropped my iphone. with no case on it.. and for all of you who have the iphone or know lots about it... at the top in the middle next to where you put the headphones in and the standby button.. there is like a thing where you put your sim card.. you poke the little hole and it pops out. so in order to get any connection.. i have to hold it down really hard or put this cover on it. but i just got a new cover that i would like to use. anyways.. will someone help me get this to work without having me to hold it down ! and if i tell my dad he might get mad saying i already had to send it in once.
