someone give me the lowdown on tungstens?

My company is desperately looking for a PDA that can access REAL html internet. Can any of the Tungstens do this by themselves, or do they have to be plugged into a phone?

Tungsten C is the only one with capable via a wifi connection. All other Tungsten's have to be connected to a phone via Bluetooth.

The T3 can have a WiFi connection via an expansion card. This will also work on the Zire 72.

The only option that PalmOne has of connecting to the internet without a network or wifi connection would be the Treo Smartphone.....not sure if it will do full html though. I believe it's new browser will but haven't seen it in person yet.

You can also connect via cable or IR. For HTML, WebPro works nicely. (It will also display HTML files saved to a SD card.)

Do they still provide this lackluster product? It connected via GPRS, right?

Dropped when the Treo was folded into the PalmOne family from Handspring.....but yes it was a GPRS/GSM phone.
