My landlord had issued a reconciliation check but mailed it a month letter to the address which I already left. When I inquired, I got the response a month a later it has cashed out by somebody. I would like to know what can I do to get my money back. Should I ask him the information like check number, date it issued, the bank it was cashed out etc? would that information help me to recover my money? Will my bank help me in this matter.
