Stuff like this is why I ususally wash mine really well after a service. I hate having to clean grease off after it gets splattered everywhere from riding.
...then I usually don't wash it again for months....lol.
when u take your bike for service they grease the neck bearings and when they do that they purge the grease till the new grease starts to come out. happened to me also.
