Some RK experience needed

Propably you guys are sick of talking about this, but since i'm thinking of getting one i'd like to ask something about RK's ride and particularly for 2009 and later RKs (with the intergaded chassis , wider rear tyre, etc).
How is it with a passenger, a tourpack and generally FULLY loaded at 90 m/h ??!!
Is it steady?
Can it go even faster ?
Annoying vibrations at that (or higher) speed?
I'm asking all these because i have a Dyna and made many trips at MAX load and i could go just up to 70 m/h...
After that (it could go much faster) it didn't feel...safe...steady...
I have driven a Heritage (without a windshield) and it felt no different to me than my FXDC.I hope Heri owners won't get offended but apart from the riding position , in terms of stability (i/m talking only in straight lines) it felt quite the same to me...
Thanks falks!

I've ridden mine at 90 mph, no vibrations, etc.
Ridden mine at 80-85 mph with passenger and full bags, no problems, probably could have gone faster. Very stable at high speeds, has been very stable with wind conditions that we normally have here.

I've only had mine up to 80 MPH, but it's steady as a rock at that speed. Remember the 09 and later RK has the same frame, engine and tires as the EGC, UC, SG, RG. just doesn't have all the sofa stuff. When my wife started riding her own bike, I traded the UC for a RK. Now I can pop the windshield off if I want to play around town or in the mtns. I think the RK is the coolest Harley made. Best bang for your buck!!!

I'll be following this thread as I'm waiting on delivery for my first RK and will be interested to see some of the responses

The new chasis, tires and bigger gas tank make this a great touring bike. It just fits me right. I've had a several 400-500 days sine I got my '09 in July and I love it-even the stock seat. I've had it to 110 mph and it's stable if you wear a full face helmet. Don't need to go much faster than that again.

You do feel the wind - which is exactly why I got this bike. Coming off a BMW K1200LT it's nice to feel the air. If you want its easy to remove the windshield and if you want less you can always buy a batwing fairing. I had it two up today and my wife complained of heat on her right Leg off the exhausts. It was into the mid-90's. My bike is stock and I understand that a few mods will take care of that.

That said it's down a bit on power unless you rev it high. I noticed that I was a bit behind some of the other bikes today that had 110's and other mods. Speed is not my concern on this bike as I have others built for speed. The fifth gear whine will drive you to drink but simple up or down shift takes care of that problem.

Love my 10, me and the wifey went to sturgis loaded to the gills, 85-90 there and back no problem. I did have to change the seat and bars to make it comfy. I just got my tourpak and don't notice much of a difference with or without. No regrets here. My wife loves the ride and can do 150 miles between stops without too much whining.
