It's not weird, but can be harmful since most cookie recipes have raw egg in them. But I haven't heard of anyone getting seriously sick from raw cookie dough -- although it does give me a tummy ache! Live it up and keep eating it if it makes you happy! You only live once!

It not that its not normal...i think lots of people do it, its just that its not HEALTHY. lol. like...it has raw eggs. Eggs that aren't cooked can carry all sorts of sicknesses. be careful...but ENJOY its yummy

Its not wierd at all, look at Dairy Queen. They have cookie dough blizzards. My boys used to eat the cookie dough before I had a chance to make cookies..

It's totally normal! Some kids were never allowed to eat it because of the raw eggs in it. Haha, I still eat it. It's yummy

One of my favourite things when I was a kid was cleaning the bowl, by licking it out with my fingers, before it hit the dishwasher. I'm sure most people did that, when their mothers would encourage them to take part in a baking session. Absolutely normal!
