Guys, if you've ever met a lesbian in real life, you'd know they are some of the coolest people on the planet. Also, gay guys are pretty cool. Shit if I ever got hit on by a dude, I'd be flabbergasted. Seriously. Gays are pretty cool people, even if they are differently oriented with their sexuality. Fuck that guy, he's a prick. Even if he is your friend, I'd still punch him in the face for saying something as hateful as that.

I hate to hear about suicide and I hate to hear about ignorance. This story is sad because a young woman took her life and an ignoramus had to put salt in the wounds of her friends. Some people are assholes. I'm an asshole. But that remark wasn't something an asshole would say in my opinion. That was something a coward would say. He's afraid because he can't understand them. And rather then search for knowledge he attempts to destroy people because of his fears.

Stupid homophobic hicks. It makes no sense to hate someone because of sexuality. If they're gay, they're gay. No one gives a shit if you don't like them, it's not your sex life and life in general they're effecting. Fuck off. Agree, gay dudes are cool in my book. You don't have to deal with macho hardass-posturing bullshit form gay dudes... although I suppose some of them might have those chick tendencies to be two faced, but I doubt it...

A successful suicide just indicates a lack of ability for that person to cope wiht their circumstances... threatening suicide, and then maybe doing it half-assedly is a cry for help.

You cant write off every suicide as the result of stupidity and ignorance. That's ignorant in itself. It's also fairly rude, many people have lost close friends or loved ones in suicides and to call those people idiots is a bit harsh.
Consider how horrible they must have felt in order to get to that point. It's not as if suicide is "Plan A" or even "Plan C" for anyone, it's a last resort by definition.

For whatever reason, they just couldn't cope, and that's a shame because there's usually an abundance of people ready to help them, but in my experience the suicidal types are the ones who like to stay to themselves and bottle in their emotions. It's no wonder they can't cope.

As far as the homophobic asshole goes... You just gotta let it go, he's an asshole of epic proportions, probably has the Old Testament shoved up his ass too.

As far as Lesbians go... some of 'em are hardcore feminist types that are just as ignorant as the worst homophobes and nazis... but the rest are fine. :)
 
What I'm failing to grasp here is this: In your thread, you still refer to him as your friend. While I applaud your obvious tolerance, there are times when tolerating crap like this could just as well be considered condoning this kind of behavior. I'm also failing to sense any kind of anger directed towards the dick-hopping ass-monkey that decided to throw such a blatant attack towards a person that was already in an extreme state of duress. Sure, you call him an asshole, but that's it. He deserves more than that. Maybe a gut punch followed by a quick roundhouse to the temple. Or maybe you could just hold him down so that the person who the insult was directed at could just stomp his face for an hour or two.

Your "friend" is an ignorant bigot for making the statement in the first place. You're a coward for tolerating the kind of crap you know has no place even being thought about, much less, spoken out loud. :mfinger: - To both of you.
 
Well this girl was one of the lesbians that, now that i think about it, im surprized she didnt bring the gun to school and take a few of us with her. But sexy hit the nail on the head. He is known around the school as "Cowboy" because he is such a hick.
But ohh well life goes on.
