I'm 17 going on 18 in a few months and have always loved Jeep Wranglers. Right now I drive a 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood and have had my license since April. I found a great deal on Craigslist for a lifted 1989 Jeep Wrangler. Its got the I6 and is automatic. I talked to my mother about me buying it and without even considering it for a moment she said no. She says they are not safe and I don't have enough driving experience. I can see where she is coming from and I know and understand that they are top heavy and have a high center of gravity. But I also don't drive like a maniac and will not try to push the limits of the vehicle. I am just looking for some opinions on the situation.
