english midterm was based on Night, Robin Hood, Canterberry Tales, Beowulf, and Sir Giwain and i didnt read ANY of them, i guessed on all the questions, made up my essay and got an Ai got an A on religion and its harder then i thought and i guessed on EVERYTHING and made up the essayi got an A- on history and made up the essay and guessedi study for algebra and chem and get an , i tried so hard, i had algebra and chem terms going through my head when i was sleeping and still got an F explain that

You were over confident probably and didn't read the questions thoroughly before answering them, that has happened to me a bunch of times and even to my honors physics teacher. Over confidence can be your worst enemy.

its not that you guessed on english religion and history its that your brain somehow understood what you were reading and had a better grasp of the subject.apparently chemistry and algebra aren't your strong points(which makes since being as math and science go together) even though you worked hard for those two test your brain still didn't fully understand!i would suggest tutoring for your weaker subjects

Must be the teachers. Typically, classes involving math are harder. The teachers tend to be stricter and grade harder. However, it could be that the ones you had spent so much time on caused you anxiety and therefore you did better on the ones that you did not even study for. Self-fulfilling prophecy. Do you have test anxiety or get more anxious with certain courses?

you probably are just naturally smart. When I went to school I never had to study for tests, I just knew.
