Who was the most recent driver to win in a relief effort?Denny Hamlin, in relief of Aric Almirola at Milwaukee in the Busch (now Nationwide) Series. That was in 2007. Who was the most recent driver to win as a substitute?Jamie McMurray in relief of Sterling Marlin (Charlotte in 2003 I believe)Who/Whose COT was the first to go through inspection in COT History? The first car inspected at the first COT race was indeed the #96 DLP Chevrolet for Hall of Fame Racing, according to at least one source I found.Who owned the 88 before hendrick motorsports?Robert Yates (until the end of 2007). Although no one but NASCAR actually owns the numbers. So technically the answer is no one, as Hendrick doesn't own the 88 now, so no one owned it before them. However, for the purpose of your trivia, the answer is Robert Yates Racing. How many laps did Kevin Harvick Lead in the 2007 Daytona 500?4

1. Charlie Glotzbach's win at Bristol Motor Speedway in the 1971 Volunteer 500. The summer race at Bristol, then run in mid-July, was a 500-lap race run on a hot Sunday afternoon without caution flags. It holds the distinction of being the fastest race at the track in its history to this day. After Hassler's own car dropped out of the race, Hassler replaced Glotzbach for a few stints of the race as a relief driver because of the immense heat and humidity. While it was not an official win, he became one of three drivers to co-drive a winning car in NASCAR's premier series, the third such situation in Bristol Motor Speedway history (Johnny Allen and Jack Smith, 1961, Fred Lorenzen and Ned Jarrett, 1963).2. Jamie McMurray filled in for Sterling Marlin and won in Charlotte in his second start3. The 96 car at Bristol, then Bill Davis' cars took to the stall4. Yates owned the 88- Dale Jarrett made it famous.5. Harvick led 4 laps in his 500 win***Dale Jr and the #8 were the first team to have their car penalized at Darlington
