Some information on a Honda KA?

I have a Honda KA and when the ignition is off, and the car locked up, a red flashing light appears on the dashboard. It gives the impression it is an alarm, but I don't think the car has an alarm. I have to lock the doors with a key - it is not central locking. Any ideas what the red flashing light is?
