Let's see. Did we HAVE a Parliament?
Have you Googled PATRICK?
You can find these answers either in your text or class notes. Barring that, try this on line text:

Was Pactrick Henry part of Parliament?

Was the First Continental Congress a lawmaking body?

No patrick henry wasnt part of parliament..... parliament was in england mainly... patrick henry was in the colonies...

and it wasnt technically a lawmaking body because there was no government to make laws for. they were sort of like a mini parliament but the colonies hadnt been separated from britian yet.. they were still under the kings law. but they met to discuss the ACTS that parliament had made and that they disagreed with.

hope this helps!!

The FIRST Continental Congress was NOT a lawmaking body. We were still under British rule.

And I believe Patrick Henry was not part of parliament.
