okay so basically i'm looking for the iPhone 4. wanted the 3GS before, but now that its out, 4 is the one. the trick is, i'm in one of those damn contracts
this is the idea i had/have- what i'm looking for is advice, whether this will or won't work, and suggestions if it doesn't.
My idea is this: i had my BB Bold stolen a while ago, ever since wanted the iPhone as i also had my iPod stolen (giving to the community ha ha...). i got the old terribad blackberry (the fat blue one) and it sucks. 5 year old mobile tech. i hate it. i can't upgrade just yet but- my mum can. she never uses her phone, and has given me permission for this if it will work. what i was planning to do is simple- upgrade my mum's phone to iPhone 4, put my SIM card in, ditch the old phone, and i'm good.
the problem is, there's something with a micro SIM in the iP4, not sure about that. also, my phone # and plan- iPhones need a specific plan with data and stuff, so i need to know how to do this.
the other alternative is canceling the contract and buiying one...which i could do but, as a teen guy trying to save some money, i'd love to do it in the cheapest way i can.
any way i could make this work, or even ask a rogers (my carrier) rep about it (lol even though i'd feel like a criminal)
