Try using the vx9900 DLL with your phone and follow these instructions:

Others have had great success with hanRABets other than the vx9900 with this method.
If your phone has native apps such as a music player that relies on Brew then don't f-with the Brew settings!
Doing so may leave you with less than desirable results.

Any luck? I tried it and the phone crashes when you hit the browser button.
