Some help on a custom Ported Box...?

I have two Quantum Audio 12's (800rms each) and a Quantum audio amp (running about 1800rms @ 1ohm). I have them both in seperate cheap Q-Logic Boxes and was wanting to upgrade to one big box, i am aiming for MORE SPL. I have plenty of room in my truck and was thinking about going with a 5.5 cubit foot box tuned @ 38hz. Being 5.5cuft, itll be big enough to still hit the lows and have a fair bit of spl right?
