Some HD channels showing no info in EPG

The turnaround time for you in Oakville for a replacement should only be 2 or 3 days.

All of the above......

As Dish never activated this feature on their version of the 9200 it is almost certain that there will never be any EHD feature for 9200 owners.

Don't forget that the 9200 will become a Dual Tuner SD PVR when Bell TV switch over to MPEG4 for the HD channels. So I doubt is is worth the trouble to add an EHD, it will record over 200 hours of SD.

I discovered Tues. night that the EPG was fixed, but confirmed that my 9200 was still on v221. On Wed. night I noticed I was now on v222, complete with 70's style logos and extraneous "HD" labels.

Funny how yesterday I spent two hours trying to get this fixed.
Was told:
problem didn't exist, just download the guide again.
turn to transponder 13 for 30 min and problem will be fixed,
turn unit off for a few hours and problem will go away.
we will format your drive and that will fix it.
we can replace your 9200 with like and you will not have the problem.
software v222 cannot be installed on your 9200.
it is not a software problem, v222 will not fix it.

Today it updated to software v222 and problem is gone. Speechless.

To bad I almost got a new 9240, before our connection drop. Too tired to call back. Contract is up in two months. Will they give me a new unit if I renew?

After suffering through the failure of v221 and EPG for certain channels we now have a new feature on the remote.

Hit the guide button three times and it displays all the HD channels that are available to you in the EPG,that came with the v222 update. I discovered it by accident. Did Bell mention somewhere that was a new feature?

If they did I guess I missed it.

Bell didn't but it is well documented within these hallowed pages.....

It just brings the 9200 EPG in line with the 6141 & 9242 EPG's.
