Some HD channels showing no info in EPG

I'm having the same problem with my 9200 (No Info showing for ABC HD E and ABC HD W). I've been having this problem for over a week.

I called Bell last week and they had me pull out my smart card, power down the receiver, etc but nothing worked. In the end, they opened a ticket for me and said they'd be in contact when they have a solution. I'm sure I'll never hear from them!

It's frustrating.

Please keep the discussion in this thread limited to the EPG issues.

There are other existing threads or forums to post about other issues.

Also, as noted, this seems to be affecting the 9200 only and is NOT related to the card swap as many of you keep posting. There are a number of posts (myself included) that have the exact same issue with the old cards.

I am getting the dreaded "No Info" in my guide data. I have reset my receiver, done check witch and re-downloaded data multiple times. For the affected channels, the guide only show the data for the next half hour/hour. Anyone have a fix for this?

I normally remove the Smart Card, let it go to the System Info Screen, then re-insert. That normally forces a download of the guide, after a reset.

It also shows up on our 6100 and when you pause in the no info area.....it will start downloading etc. For some reason the unit will not hold the downloads so we now avoid, as much as possible, using the guide.

No reboots here either.. I haven't noticed anything major as far as operation goes since I swapped cards... But, this morning I noticed that 819 PBSHE and 816 ABCHE were back to showing "No Info" again. Those are the only two channels doing it today.

The replies and comments here indeed tell me that the new V222 is rolling out to specific receivers numbers only, not a general all encompassing update.

I am sure we will get V222, just do not know when.

Just curious is the EPG problem affecting people with the 9200(it also affects my 6000) generally or is impacting people with a 9200 and on the Legacy package which was Bell so called first HD package.
Old customers like me are grandfathered on the Legacy package which is somewhat cheaper not much than the current packages.

Bell wants us to move off the Legacy package.

I've got the same thing. Primarily with ABC HD I believe. I think it's an issue with the data coming down - if we give it a while it will probably get better by itself.

I've seen this for about the last week or so.

I am on the Legacy package and I have been missing ABD HD W and East. It shows only two programs listed in the program guide then No Information Available.

I also have a 6000 and last night all the Treasure and related channels had no info along with the CBS and ABC

I have been talking to the CSA and technical support at Bell and they forced a download it worked on ABC for 10 minutes then went back to no information.

The last solution was to offer me a rebuilt receiver 9200 for 199.00.

The problem seems to be at their end and they will not admit it. In One way I feel good I am not alone in this problem but the problem is not solved and it does affect my PVR recordings.

I would suggest that everyone who is affected call Bell and register a complaint it is the only way that they will address the problem.

I called on the 12th about this issue along with my issue of constant reboots. I was speaking with a level 2 tech and asked him if there was any way to send v222 to my receiver to see if it would correct the problem.

He told me there was no such thing as v222 and v221 works perfectly so I must be an isolated incident. I insisted that v222 existed and several clients had it. Again, he said that it didn't exist and all v222 was going to do WHEN it was released was enhance the external hard drive options. I continued to disagree but it was pointless.

His solution (and my only option) was to send me a new receiver. I don't know why I bother paying Bell for such horrible customer service. How can none of the tech support staff know that there's a problem? The only reasoning I can think of is that as soon as Bell admits there is a problem with the firmware, everyone that calls in will want a credit.

Now I know why I pay so much for horrible service. They keep sending out receivers to customers for no good reason! What a waste of money.

Also affecting A&E HD and CBS. I lost a Friday night timer on CBS so my show didn't record. Also lost a timer this morning on A&E HD.

Just popped up the guide now and No Info on CTYHE, CBCHW, A&E HD, ABCHE, PBSHE, ABCHW, PBSHW.

ABC E & W have been showing no info on my 9200 as well for about a week. I don't have my new cards yet.

I agree with jft436, anyone who has this issue should call in. I will be doing so tonight.

I have a 9200 and Channels 816, 819, 821, 843, 881, 882, 884, 885 only show program info for the next 1 to 3 hours in the EPG. After that it just shows "no info available". I called in and the technician had no clue what was going on, only saying it was an issue at my end. When we checked signal strength we discovered on all my receivers (3100, 5100, 6100, 9200) Satellite 82 TP 32 does not lock and says "name not aquired." I have 2 seperate dishes and both receivers can't lock into TP32, but the 6100 the EPG works fine.
Any suggestions?

I moved off the Legacy Package early this year and I'm having the problem with my 9200 and the EPG showing No Info. So, in my case, it doesn't seem to be related.

I'm still having the problem with my EPG (it's been about two weeks now for me too). And I'm also still on v221.

I will call Bell again tomorrow but I expect the same song and dance from my previous calls on this issue.

Are you using all Legacy Switch's etc.?
You have 5 Tuners so how are you connecting them.?
you say 2 Dish's but is that 1 each for 91 & 82.?

Running a 9200 here and having this issue as well. I get prompted to download the guide info quite often but it doesn't seem to help.

Very annoying glitch, especially going into the new season.

I've had a new card for some time now and as of yesterday I get no info for the PBS E guide.

New firmware for the 9200 (v222) was spooled this morning. It appears to have fixed the EPG issue (fingers crossed), given the EPG the updated look (like the 6141s and 9242s), and introduced the new Bell logo to the 9200.
