Well, that depenRAB on how quickly you, the customer, purchase them. Usually with anime, the product in question is switched to deleted status once a price drop is instituted. Once all of the copies currently available of said product in the store are purchased, that's it. Once a product switches to deleting status, the store will not receive additional quantities under normal circumstances. The only exception is if that product is featured in an ad for a sale.
There's another answer for how long the sale will last, but it's not necessarily beneficial for the customer. Every once in a while, product is sent back to the distribution center, to make room for newer product, because the product is being discontinued, because there is a better edition/version of the product being released, because there are too many copies of that product, or because that product is not selling fast enough or at all. Usually, in the case of anime, there isn't much to send back, but then again, anime isn't reduced in price very often. There's a slight chance that the reduced pricing could be an indication that that product might be reaching the end of its life on the shelf. I'm not saying that this is what is going to happen, just that it is a slight possibility. I would much rather see anime go home with a customer than get sent back to the distribution center. I'm not saying this because I want people to spend money, though that I guess is a benefit. I'm saying this because out of all of the sections in our Media department, I take the greatest pleasure in the anime section. Maybe it's because no one else seems to appreciate it like I do. Then again, none of the other employees have a Best Buy shirt that has "Animeniac" (copyright ) sewn on it. So please folks, adopt some anime. Give it a loving home where it can be viewed over and over again and displayed with pride.
So, yeah...I'll post the list tomorrow. If you have any more questions in the meantime, let me know. I will be more than happy to help, but you might have to prepare yourself for yet another answer with more information than you could possibly want.
