I asked 2 other questions like this but apparently no one was knowledgeable enough to answer.
Anyway, I enjoy contemporary fiction and literature.
I recently read "The Stranger" by Albert Camus and I really liked it.
Would you recommend any other books by Camus or books that are similar to his writing. I hear that Jean-Paul Sartre is similar to him also?
Are there any other good books you would recommend to me that I can pick up? Something written in the style of Salinger/Vonnegut? Books that are more about "Telling" and content versus "Showing" and detail. I don't like the author to fill the pages up with detail and rule my imagination whereas they could be telling me the story.
Thank you.
