In the library, we check out laptops to the students. To check out a laptop, one must sign a form that states when the laptop is due and that they understand the ramifications of bringing it in late.
Some dumpster slut checks one out and brings it in over a day late (late fees for laptops equals $10/hr with a cap of $200) and says she never signed the form. I was the one who checked it out, and saw her sign it. She says that it isn't her signature and she says I fucking forged it! Seriously, what the Hell?
I've been working this job for over two years and was volunteering here long before that enjoying almost every moment! I have no reason to fucking throw my career and my life away for some dumb whore who can't pay a late fee because she wants to pass it on to me.
Some facts:
A) She has checked out laptops almost daily since this point, ergo, she knows the procedure.
B) She has a history of bringing them in late and trying various sob stories.
C) Many around the school view her as untrustworthy and conniving.
D) I am the most anal person about these procedures and actually reinforce many of the rules to ensure no student can try to call foul on me.
E) I do not have a history of lying, cheating, or otherwise messing with the college career-wise or school-wise.
She doesn't have a case, but this really is going to hurt my credentials around the college, IMO. This nothing of a worm has sullied my good name and sadly, I cannot shoot her for it. It's all I really have right now, and I will NOT let this go unpunished. I'm not only pushing her fine be mandatorilly paid, but that she be banned from the library and the Academic Learning Center.
