Some BHT voice actors Revealed

It took some research, but I found 3 of the voice seiyuu (voice actors) that did the voices for the forgotten 1987 TV show, The Beverly Hills Teens:
First is Mary Long, who did Lark Tanner,

followed by Karen Bernstein, the seiyuu that did Tara Belle and Therese "Jett" Lyman; she's a documentry and film producer and record producer now, (she's either the dark brunette or the bespecticled blonde)

and Terri Hawkes who did Bianca Dupree.

Why call them seiyuu if you have to explain what the term means? This isn't the anime board, and that's not even an anime show, is it?

I don't understand why it would be particularly hard to find the cast info for this show, either. The full list is right here, and it only took me about 15 seconds to find this:

Unless you mean the images...
But still, I don't see how this is particularly exciting.

I wouldn't call the show *forgotten*. After all, you can probably find a lot of the show's episodes on VHS in bargain bins in dollar stores and video stores across the country if you look hard enough. I know I picked up a lot of BHT tapes at Blockbuster a few years back.

I wouldn't be surprised if Shout Factory announces this title sometime in the next year or two.

Couldn't one make the logical assumption, though, that if someone was really that curious, as you were, they could take 5 minutes and just Google the names on the cast list?

I dunno, I guess the lot of us just don't have the frothing desire to know everything about the voice actors from another forgotten 80's cartoon that you do.

Uh... who was joking?

I'm curious to see what the voices of my favourite characters look like too, but it's not necessary to make a thread to "reveal" what was never hidden, or difficult to find. If somebody wants to see what a voice actor looks like, they can look it up pretty easily. If there's a photo on the internet, that is. What I'm trying to say is, this is like making a thread with a picture of Mel Blanc and saying "LT voice actor revealed!!!"

Also, 'knowledge is power' is completely unrelated to this.

And now that we've established it may or may not be hard to see photos of who these voice actors were, is there going to be some discussion concerning the actual voice actors?

Looking at their IMBD credits:

Terri Hawkes, while having an impressive list of credits, has nothing really noteworthy as a VA outside of her role on BHT, playing Sailor Moon for a brief period, and as Shreeky on 'Care Bears'.

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0370049/

Mary also had a supporting role on Sailor Moon, and played Mainframe on 'C.O.P.S.'. Once again, impressive list of live action credits, but nothing really impressive as a VA.

Now, Jonathan Potts, who played Troy had a much impressive VA role: He played Link on the Super Mario Bros. Super Show and Captain N.

The show is forgotten to me, what was it about? Was it about teenagers in Beverly Hills, were the teenagers super heros or something, like the Teen Titans?

Wrong era, Zoombie. This was the 80s, not the 70s. ;)

No, the Beverly Hills Teens weren't super heroes, or any kind of crime fighters. They were just incredibly rich.

One name that I noticed was not included in Wiki's list was Sean Roberge, the voice of Chester McTech. Roberge also provided the voice of Tuxedo Sam on CBS' Hello Kitty's Furry Tale Theater. Sadly, Sean Roberge was killed in a plane crash a few years ago.

What can I say, some of my favorite shows are Teen Titans, Kim Possible, American Dragon: Jake Long, Kim Possible, etc. about teenage heros.

Anyway I looked up the info on the shows, it sounds like it is very much like Archie or Josie And the Pussycats. And man did this show have a large cast of main characters, it is hard to keep up.

BHT was closer to Archie than it was to Josie and the Pussycats. Like I said, they didn't go around solving mysteries or anything like that.

From what I looked up on Wikipedia, the following are things the took from Jossie And The Pussycats. They had a tooken black girl, had a dark haired antagonist girl with a pet trying to breaking up the main protagonist couple.

On another note, judging by the B/W picture that was posted here, Terri Hawkes looks a little bit like Grey DeLisle. And looking at Terri's credits, and some of the noteable characters she played, if those characters were made today, would surprise me if Grey would play most of them. Grey is known for her 80's sterotype valley girl voice, and she defentely could have played Beverly Dupree.

And someone earlier metioned her only noteable characters was Bererly Dupree from the show we are talking about, Sailor Moon, and Shreeky from the Care Bears. You are forgetting she also played Baby Hugs on the Care Bears. If you want to rank important or noteable characters, Baby Hugs is ranked above Shreeky as far as importance, (though the CB cubs are my least favorite characters, they took the Care Bears which granted was built on cuteness to begin with, but took to an unbearable level of cuteness for me.) Terri played that character in the first Care Bears feature movie, as well as the Nutcracker Special. (Hugs was also in the Frozen Machine special, played by another actress)
